A for us unknown delegation from Finland travelled through ice and snow at 1st of December from Korvatunturi, Lapland to Neustadt at Est-Holstein with a sledge towed by reindeers to visit our new Nordsail-Point of Sail of Tom Stender and Christoph Becker. The group wanted to test sail the new Varianta 44. No problem – Variantas are sailing in every weather!
After removing a lot of snow from the deck, the party left the dock, set sails. And they found out: Heavy snow, ice showers and strong easterly wind is not a real problem for a Varianta 44. The Finland Crew now parked their reindeers and the sledge at Ancora Marina and chartered the Varianta for a Christmas Trip. Skipper Santa Claus will sail at 24th of December to visit all kids around the Baltic with the environment-friendly Varianta instead of a boring sledge behind stinking reindeers.
